BRUSHY FORK TRAILS

tHE BRUSHY FORK TRAIL SYSTEM IS A IN THE HEART OF TOWN AND SHOWS JUST HOW UNIQUE BEREA'S LANDSCAPE IS.  THIS IS WHERE THE FLATLANDS OF KENTUCKY END AND THE MOUNTAINS BEGIN.    


THERE ARE OVER 6 MILES OF loopING trail THROUGHOUT.  MOST ARE VERY EASY TERRAIN AND ARE USED AS CROSS COUNTRY TRAILS.  iN RECENT YEARS TRAILS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED ALONG THE RIDGE TAKING YOU TO WELCH MOUNTAIN AND OTHER OVERLOOKS WHICH ARE DEFINITELY WORTH GOING TO SEE!  Dogs are also able to use this trail.  THERE IS ALSO SOCCER GOALS, A BASKETBALL COURT, AND WIDE OPEN FIELDS FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES.


THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO ENTER THE AREA BUT PARKING IS ON SCAFFOLD CANE ROAD.  BOONE TRACE RUNS THROUGHOUT THE PARK AND FOLLOWS THE BRUSHY FORK CREEK.
